Allen Meadows - Score: 93 (2016 January)

Soft wood sets off the intensely earthy and highly complex sauvage and dark berry fruit aromas. There is excellent volume to the focused, vibrant and powerful broad-shouldered flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the palate coating and beautifully lingering finish. There is outstanding concentration but equally good delineation and this has the stuffing and structure to easily reward 15+ years of cellaring.
